C K Nobels Style Show

This is a local hat designer who is the official Kentucky Derby designer. It is a guy(C K) and a woman (Mrs Nobles) who met in high school and then later as event planners and formed a hat company. They design hats (some outrageous) for all kinds of events.
This hat and this model were on the cover of Vanity Fair.


Every woman must wear a hat to the derby. They said if you don't it is like going to a formal wedding in blue jeans. Women get their hat designed first and then find the perfect dress to go with it. Here Kevin shows how to shape hats in many different ways to get a different look.





They had 9 models and each one changed hats several times. All were worn to the derby this past May.
