Port Aransas July 2011

Vacation at Port Aransas. Sam drove over from Houston and John flew in. Down on Padre Island, we met a sand sculptor who was practicing for the sand sculpture competition. Learned a lot from him.

Mesquite Rodeo

We were given tickets to the rodeo in June. Front section right by the chutes. Exciting when those bulls came out!!!



Surprise for me---one of the calf ropers was from Carthage. I used to teach his dad in Beckville.

June Bunco at my House

My neighborhood Bunco group--I got a new hat this year----a lighted pink feathery cowboy hat---we really had so much fun with it!!!!
