Mansions of Hyde Park

Today we drove to downtown Tampa and St Petersburg---saw historical parts. The best was Hyde Park where the rich built mansions in the 1940's. Reminded me of Swiss Avenue except for the huge live oaks with moss draping down. We parked the Jeep and walked down the streets with Tex admiring the lawns and gardens. A lot like Charleston, too.
