National Lampoon's Vacation

Remember the old movie where Chevy Chase and his family travel to Wally World. Well, along the way they camped in some tent-campers at Kamp Komfort. We are staying at Kamp Komfort--now named Riverbend Resort in South Fork, CO.



One of the huts has been preserved down by the South Fork of the Rio Grande. We are parked on a cliff up above.


We enjoyed the wall of pictures from the movie in the office.


Fred rings the same bell that Sparky rang. Now I need to see the movie. We tried to buy it at Walmart, but no luck. They really need to sell it here and some T-shirts that say " Kamp Komfort--Sparky slept here" but they didn't ask me to be their financial consultant.
