24th Anniversary

Where did the time go??? How could it be possible that we have been married 24 years on June 21? We celebrated with a great seafood dinner at Pappadeaux's and Fred gave me 24 red roses.

Last week, Fred and Joe fished at Lake Tawakoni. Fred caught this 33 lb buffalo. The lake record is 39 lbs. They have also fished several days for sand bass, breaking their record each time. Last count was 305 fish in 11 hr. (catch and release, of course)

Sam is back in Texas!!!

After 20 years in Chicago, Sam is back in Texas. He spent Memorial weekend with us on his move to The Woodlands. He said that he will have no trouble adjusting to the heat. Can't wait to eat good Tex-Mex and BBQ again and be able to play golf year round.



We put him to work while he was here. Actually he volunteered since he had never mowed on a riding lawn mower. He has lived in a townhouse while in Chicago. He said mowing brought back too many back memories of mowing the pasture when he was a kid. No mowing for Sam in his retirement. Yeah!!! Sam, we are so glad to have you back.
